Adele leads nominees American Music Award with 4

Adele has most popular album of the year with "21", so it is logical that it is the artist most named for American Music Awards this year, the.

The appointments were announced Tuesday in Los Angeles, and Adele led all candidates with four. The British soul singer and songwriter was appointed to the artist of the year, favorite singer, favorite adult contemporary artist and favorite album for "21."

Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, Lil Wayne, Katy Perry, Rihanna and The Band Perry all follow-ups Adele closely with each three appointments. Lil Wayne, Swift, Perry and Lady Gaga all compete with Adele to the artist of the year category.

The 39th Annual American Music Awards will be held November 20 at the theatre of Nokia in Los Angeles. It will be broadcast live on ABC.
